Research in LCR
The archivists, librarians, and museologists in Libraries and
Cultural Resources conduct research in a wide variety of areas, both in
the disciplines covered by the Libraries and Cultural Resources
umbrella and in other subjects. Much of this work is carried out in
collaboration with colleagues outside of Libraries and Cultural
Resources, at the University of Calgary and elsewhere. The results of
this research is reported in articles, books, and other media and is
frequently presented at conferences.
Areas of research in Libraries and Cultural Resources include:
- Archival finding aids
- Collection management and development
- Exhibition catalogues
- Information commons
- Information literacy
- Material culture
- Numismatics
- Scholarly publishing
- Systematic reviews
2007
This list will no longer be kept. All staff are encouraged to submit
their publications and scholarly contributions to the University of
Calgary's Institutional Repository http://dspace.ucalgary.ca and where appropriate to E-LIS Eprints in Library and Information Science http://eprints.rclis.org/
